2022 Echezeaux, Grand Cru, Domaine Guyon, BurgundyElegant and refined on the nose, this Echzeaux is Jean Pierres masterpiece most years. His 0. 22 ha are located in the En Orveaux section of Echzeaux. Plenty of rose petals and blood oranges on the nose associated with ripe red and black fruit. There is a sanguinous aspect to it on the palate with good depth, linearity and tension. Drink 2032 2058, Yoan Bernard, Berry Bros. & Rudd

but lots of perfume and freshness surround it on the nose

though I might leave it another couple of years

alongside rose and leafy notes

but we have been going here to taste for many years

Whilst the fruit on the palate is more prominent

Abundant flavors of blue fruit and blackberries lead to a stunning finish

The perfume is lovely and floral

One of Champagne's finest houses

to which end the new oak component is being reduced and the whole bunch fermentation percentage increased

it is fully developed and beautifully aged

It immediately makes itself known
