LMV-BB Series GR Gate Valve (Bell x Bell) HDPEAll gate valves are constructed of ductile iron with FBE (fusion bonded epoxy) coating on the inside and outside. The gasket bell outlet accepts IPS (iron pipe size) HDPE pipe and is designed to push on to the plastic pipe. Each valve includes two stainless steel internal pipe stiffeners that are designed to insert into the end of the HDPE pipe to keep the pipe true round.
