Nepenthes veitchii BE-3734 'Bario squat' *Not confirmed striped*Random assortment from several carefully selected clones out of microprop. This classic species has a spectacular wide peristome. There are both lowland and highland varieties which are markedly different in appearance, in general the highland varieties have wider more colorful pitchers. This is a cross between two seed raised highland forms of Nepenthes veitchii often known as the 'Bario squat'. The female parent is a selected clone of the Bareo form

The pitchers are very interesting in form and we feel that as they mature

this terrestrial orchid thrives in warm

which were themselves selected for their extreme wavy leaves

The female parent is a seed-grown Nepenthes petiolata and the male parent is a seed-grown Bario form of N nepenthes veitchii
