Mac Forbes Woori Yallock ‘Ferguson’ Chardonnay 2022Mac recently (July 2025) hosted a small trade event, opening a raft of wine he has produced over the past two decades, going back to his 2006 Woori Yallock Chardonnay (which looked great, by the way). As part of the tasting, the new single site 2022s were released and shown for the first time. As is often the case for us in here at Five Ways, the Woori Yallock 'Ferguson Vineyard' wines shone most brightly. This wine shows the tension and nervy acidity

and unripened apricot aromas

I'd cellar this wine for at least another 3 or 4 years to gain back the purity from last year
