Antique Japanese Military Helmet Flag Manchuria Dispatch Army Sake CupThis is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a helmet, a flag, and a star. The words are "Discharge Commemoration" "36th Infantry" and on the back "Manchuria Dispatch Victorious Return Commemoration". Condition: Excellent some of the words on the outside are faded Size: 2" across

The words on each of the cups are "Return Commemoration" and the soldier's full name Matsumoto Masa

These are done for operational security and usually denotes a unit in active duty - given the date

and the soldier's name Tanaka is on the exterior
